Where we’ve been…

We were originally known as Etowah Electric Eagles, named after our home at Etowah High School. We started as the only FRC robotics team in Cherokee County, Georgia. Since then, we have helped launch and mentor teams, including Nova Robotics (FRC 8050) and Sequoyah Robotics (FRC 8080).

Firestorm Robotics launched with a new name and a new name in 2019. We are based at the Cherokee Makerspace, a community, members-only makerspace in Cherokee County. Our team’s membership is now open to and contains students from the Etowah, River Ridge and Woodstock zones, including homeschoolers.

Firestorm/Interact @EtowahHS presented 4 huge holiday gifts - modified all-terrain wheelchairs at to local kids @Lights of Hope. Eager to do again in '20!
